Blowing snow creates hazardous driving conditions
No travel advised in portions of Kittson and Marshall Counties
BEMIDJI, Minn. – (4:30 p.m.) A no travel advisory is in effect for portions of Kittson and Marshall Counties according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. High winds and blowing snow can significantly reduce visibility leading to dangerous driving conditions for motorists.
The National Weather Service as issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook across much of the Red River Valley with wind gusts up to 55 MPH. Forecasted precipitation of 1-2 inches of snow could further impact travel conditions across northwestern Minnesota.
