MnDOT to collect survey information along Hwy 200
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – This summer the Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin collecting survey information along Highway 200 from the Wild Rice River to Mahnomen County Road 3 in Chief and Rosedale Townships. Later this year, surveying will continue near Roy Lake in Clover and Twin Lake Townships.
The survey information will be used to preserve and re-monument public land survey corners within the county to be referenced in future construction plans on Highway 200.
The work should not affect traffic flow or speeds; however, MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution and watch for crews working near the shoulder.
