Open house Aug. 27 for Hwy 57 bridge replacements north of Mantorville, Berne in 2019
MANTORVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house on Monday, Aug. 27, in Mantorville to learn more about the bridge replacements planned for Highway 57 north of Mantorville near Berne in 2019, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Representatives of MnDOT will be available to answer questions and provide information from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Dodge County Government Services Building, 721 Main St. N., in Mantorville.
MnDOT is scheduled in 2019 to replace three bridges along Highway 57 between Mantorville and Wanamingo. The bridges are over the North Branch Middle Fork Zumbro River, Middle Fork Zumbro River and Milliken Creek. Highway 57 will be closed to through traffic and detoured to Highway 56 via Goodhue County Road 11 north of construction and Dodge County Road 16 south of construction. Detour signs will be placed for accessing Berne on Dodge County Road 24 from the west. The project is expected to go from May to October.
During the Aug. 27 open house, people may drop by at any time during the session to learn more about the project, offer feedback, and ask questions. Maps and information will be available.
