Hwy 52 paving project completed between Preston and Harmony
PRESTON, Minn. – Resurfacing of Highway 52 between Preston and Harmony in Fillmore County has been completed, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The $1.8 million dollar project that was completed by Dunn Blacktop Company repaved all lanes of Highway 52 from Highway 16 south of Preston to Fillmore County Road 22 north of Harmony. Crews also added centerline sinusoidal rumble strips (mumble strips), repaired the shoulders and installed new guardrail.
Another construction project continues this summer on Highway 52 north of this site near Rochester. To learn more about that work and other projects in District 6, visit MnDOT’s construction projects website at: http://www.dot.state.mn.us/d6/projects.html.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
