Summary of work
- In 2028, a MnDOT contractor will repave Highway 19 between Decker Avenue and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks west of Highway 3 in Northfield and reconstruct a portion west of the railroad tracks. The road will change from two lanes to three lanes. A roundabout will be constructed at Armstrong Road. Improvements for pedestrians and bicycles will be completed at select intersections.
Traffic impacts
- Effects on traffic will be determined closer to the time of construction and developed with consultation from businesses and residents.
