Single lane traffic ahead on eastbound Hwy 610
Median barrier construction begins Monday, Sept. 24 in Maple Grove
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – A month-long project to construct concrete median barrier on Highway 610 in Maple Grove begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 24, following morning rush hour. The eastbound highway will be restricted to a single lane, 24-hours-a-day between Interstate 94 and Elm Creek Boulevard. as construction crews build a concrete center median barrier between the eastbound and westbound lanes of Hwy 610 over the County Road 81 and BNSF Railroad Tunnel.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route to avoid congestion.
Work is expected to be complete by the end of October, weather permitting.
