MnDOT to host March 18 in-person meeting for Highway 13 improvement project in Savage and Burnsville

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host a March 18 in-person meeting to discuss recent updates to the Highway 13 improvement project in Savage and Burnsville. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2027 through 2030.

Join us anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 18 at the Savage Library, 13090 Alabama Ave. in Savage. A short presentation is scheduled at 5 p.m. MnDOT, along with city and county staff, will be available to offer information and answer questions about the project.

If you can’t attend the in-person meeting, a virtual presentation will be posted on the project webpage following the meeting at mndot.gov/metro/projects/hwy13savageburnsville/ .

As part of the project, MnDOT, in partnership with the cities of Savage and Burnsville, and Scott and Dakota counties, will reconstruct Highway 13 between Quentin Avenue in Savage and Nicollet Avenue in Burnsville. The work will also include these intersections: Quentin Avenue, Lynn Avenue, Chowen Avenue, Washburn Avenue and Nicollet Avenue.
