MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and move over during April 20-24 and April 27-May 1 overnight maintenance work on Highways 14, 52 in Rochester
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 14 and Highway 52 in Rochester may experience overnight lane or ramp closures April 20-24 and April 27-May 1 as Minnesota Department of Transportation maintenance crews perform various repairs and spring cleanup tasks.
Work is expected to occur from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., April 20-25 and April 27-May 2.
- Crews will be sweeping curb areas on Highway 14.
- Damaged guardrail will be replaced on Highway 52 from Highway 63-Broadway in south Rochester to the Highway 52-Highway 63 (75th Street) interchange in north Rochester.
- Road repairs will be made on Highway 52, including filling cracks and patching potholes.
Lane closures will occur, and occasionally, ramps will need to be closed. Message signs will be used to alert motorists of closures and to find an alternate route.
The work is being performed at night to minimize traffic disruption. MnDOT asks motorists to be alert, slow down and move over to keep the crews safe.
