Rail crossing replacement requires detour of Highway 37 near Iron Junction
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be detouring Highway 37 near Iron Junction for CN Railway to replace a railroad crossing. The highway will be fully closed starting at 7 a.m. Oct. 6 and is expected to reopen the afternoon of Oct. 10. The closure location is at the rail crossing between County Road 329/Peary Road and S. Ramshaw Road. Motorists will be detoured on Highway 53 to County Road 16/Town Line Road to County Road 7.

- Obey posted speed limits. The fine for speeding in a work zone is $300.
- Drive undistracted. Avoid using cell phones, mobile devices, adjusting the radio – even eating –while in work zones.
