Public invited Nov. 18 to Winona Highway 43 resurfacing open house
WINONA, Minn. – The public is invited to attend a public information meeting on Nov. 18 in Winona to learn more about the Highway 43 resurfacing that is scheduled to occur in 2028, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
MnDOT staff and others will provide information about the project at the meeting, and people will have the opportunity to ask questions, gather information and provide their thoughts about the project.
- When: 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18.
- Where: Winona City Hall, City Council Chambers, 207 Lafayette St., Winona, MN 55987
- Format: No formal presentation is planned. The project website will be updated with information from the meeting.

Project details
Construction is scheduled in 2028 along Highway 43 in Winona from Mankato Avenue to Winona Street. Highway 43 through Winona is also East Sarnia Street to Main Street to East Fourth Street. The route will include a repaving of the road, a three-lane section, improved bicycle lanes, sidewalks, crossings and signals.
