MnDOT advises no travel on SE Minnesota state highways

ROCHESTER Minn. (7 a.m.) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has issued a no travel advisory in southeast Minnesota.

Snowplows are having difficulty in current conditions but remain on the roads at this time. Current rates of snow are covering roads faster than snowplows can clear a driving lane.

The advisory is for the 11-county region in southeast Minnesota, MnDOT’s District 6: Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha, and Winona.

Similar no travel warnings have been issued for state highway to the west of District 6 in southern Minnesota.
