MnDOT to host public meetings in Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights and Eagan for Highway 3 study

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights and Eagan communities to three in-person meetings in March to learn about the Highway 3 study between 160th Street (Co. Rd. 46) and Highway 62.

Visuals of the new proposed design concepts will be available, and the project team will be on-hand to answer questions. There will be no formal presentation. A virtual presentation will be available on the study website after the final in-person meeting.

The study is reviewing a 12.5-mile segment of Highway 3 to better understand growing safety concerns in the area. It is evaluating different intersection designs and roadway layouts to help reduce crashes, improve traffic flow, and identify possible intersection upgrades.
